Nomex

Class C insulation of 220°C

The coated conductor features an insulation system based on one or more layers of aromatic polyamide tape (NOMEX*) applied helically in the same direction or in alternating directions over the bare conductor. When required, impregnation varnish can be included to optimize the tape’s adhesion.
