For the past 40 years since our founding, we take pride in being a 100% Mexican company. From the very beginning, we have understood the importance of quality in our products, which is why we continuously work to improve and make quality our top priority.
Dieléctricos Metals was founded in 1984 in Chalco, State of Mexico. It emerged as a company that serves a specific market neglected by the major manufacturers of copper and aluminum wire and flat bars in Mexico. The “no minimum consumption” policy allows us to stand out from the competition.
Over the next ten years, Dieléctricos Metals established itself in the manufacturing of rectangular, square, and round copper and aluminum conductors with fibrous insulation. We also developed 26 patents in patent systems worldwide.
The company decided to mature its quality systems, and we achieved ISO 9001 certification, becoming the first electrical conductor company to obtain such certification. In 2000, we decided to construct and expand our current plant in the Industrial Zone of Chalco, State of Mexico (Amoxpa).
Dieléctricos Metals decided to invest in the world's most efficient and productive rolling system, “Redex”. We became the first Mexican company to bring a machine of this size to the country. We also invested in our annealing and insulation systems, which increased our capacity to 600 tons between copper and aluminum.
We established a copper plant in Spain.
We underwent an administrative and financial restructuring of the entire group to relaunch our company.
Due to the pandemic, we manufactured products related to the healthcare sector, opening doors to a new market.
We obtained ISO 9001:2015 certification, achieving a mature quality system. The company is in a constant process of development. We created 10 new patents and initiated an export program to 15 new countries, becoming leaders in the national and international markets.
This year, we decided to consolidate our group by opening MD Wire LLC in the
United States. This allows us to distribute and manufacture our full range of
products.
